Pop-up ads or pop-ups are a form of online advertising. It is an advertisement that appears in a new window, on top (over) of your browser window of the website that you visit. This kind of advertisement intends to attract web traffic or capture e-mail addresses. A pop-up is generated by Javascript or also be generated by other means as well. Pop-up windows comes in different sizes and shapes, with only Close, Minimize, and Maximize commands.
