How to fight Bad Breath?
Lots of foods and dental products claims and declared as breath fresheners, but according to Japanese researchers, there is only one winner: Green Tea.
Bad breath is caused by sulfur compounds created when bacteria in the mouth break down proteins, and as researchers perform several tests, they discovered that fresheners could either remove the odor or just halt their formation. Sugarless gum, mints, and parsley-oil products all struck out. Toothpaste does deodorize, but it didn't cut down the production of stinky substances.
Green tea had a chemical that has antioxidant properties which fights bad breath. So a cup of green tea after dinner or an ice cream made from green tea for dessert will help you remove odor-producing bacteria.
